Rebholz's 2010 Pi No Rosé is a 100% Pinot Noir Sekt, for which only the tête de cuvée has been fermented (in used barriques) in May 2016 after five years on the lees. The wine has an intense and nobly-refined bouquet, with matured fruit aromas and brioche flavors. It is much riper on the nose than on the palate, which is very delicate, fresh and bone dry. This is a lean, but finessed and intensely flavored, zero dosage Sekt with a good, aromatic finish. Total production is 8,000 bottles.
